The Mediation Area in Tabakalera starts the development of its basis and lines of work in Autumn 2013 based on the collaboration between Transductores and Artaziak.
In 2014 was created a work team that has been growing until its current configuration. The Tabakalera educators’ team includes: Leire San Martin, Nerea Hernández and the Artaziak group formed by Ana Revuelta, Mertxe Pecharromán and Ane Zamora.
The Tabakalera mediation project focuses on building relationships and dialogues between the Tabakalera cultural program and different agents and contexts. It understands mediation as a research source and knowledge production. Therefore, develops programs that start from collaboration with different realities. It inserts into the synergies, rhythms and knowledge of each situation, thinking about network and collective knowledge production methodologies.
