Nívola Uyá

Illustrator and visual artist. Master in Graphic Design and Graduated in Environmental Sciences by UAB. She makes murals, campaigns, her own graphic work and has a dozen illustrated albums.

With over 10 years of experience teaching art, illustration and creativity. She has designed and taught at different workshops in Spain and abroad combining creativity techniques and a strong basis in Art and Art-Nature foundations.

She has received several international awards, highlighting the First Prize of Illustration of the Institut d’Estudis Beleàrics in 2007, the Solidarity Prize of the Consell de Mallorca 2010 for the illustrated album project “Quatre retocs” carried out as a project of cooperation and social improvement, The Moonbeam Plata Prize for the Best Illustrator 2013 or the Best Illustrated Album Award at the International Latino Book Awards 2015 for “Mariama diferente pero igual”.
